BETSTOPPER - Preventing Children From Accessing Online Internet Gambling Sites



BETSTOPPER promises to be a useful program to help prevent children from accessing internet online gambling sites. It is produced by Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation.
"BetStopper blocks access to Internet gambling sites and content, preventing your kids from venturing where they don’t belong. You’ll never know everything your kids are doing online, but with BetStopper, you can know what they’re not doing."
The program is being offered as a free download. It works by looking for both gaming URLs and gaming language contained within websites. The company reports that the software is about 98% effective in blocking gambling websites.
